Chelsea may terminate the contract of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has fallen out of favour as a forward.
Aubameyang recently returned to Barcelona, where he reportedly expressed his desire to rejoin the club he had previously played for.
He is even willing to accept a pay cut to facilitate the move. Chelsea are reportedly unhappy with his actions and are considering terminating his contract early, allowing him to link up with Barcelona in the summer.
Aubameyang’s return to Chelsea has been disappointing, as he has only made 18 appearances under manager Potter, and was not included in the Champions League squad or the matchday squad for the last two Premier League games.
Barcelona and their coach Xavi are reportedly interested in the Gabon international, who made a good impression during his previous stint in Catalonia, scoring 13 goals in 23 matches.
