Romelu Lukaku converted a penalty in the 95th minute of Inter Milan’s dramatic Coppa Italia draw against Juventus in Turin, and he was then dismissed.
In the 83rd minute, Juan Cuadrado scored to give Juventus the lead before Gleison Bremer’s handball gave Inter a late penalty shot. Due to his jubilation in front of the home crowd, Lukaku received a warning.
After the final horn, Samir Handanovic, the Inter skipper, and Cuadrado were also given red cards.
Scuffles started between players from both teams after Lukaku’s penalty and the second yellow card that came after it, and they continued down the tunnel.
Inter, the defending Coppa Italia champions, have gone five games without a victory, and their poor performance has put boss Simone Inzaghi under a lot of strain.
The second legs of both matches are scheduled to be contested on April 26 and 27, with Cremonese hosting Fiorentina on Wednesday in the second semifinal.
