In a recent interview with ‘A Punt’, Barcelona striker Ferran Torres expressed his love for his former club, Valencia, and his desire to one day return to the Mestalla stadium.
“It’s my club and it’s the club I love the most. Why wouldn’t I come back?” Torres said. He also spoke about Valencia’s current situation, saying,
“It hurts me a lot to see Valencia in this situation. They don’t deserve to be relegated. They have to keep playing in La Liga.
Torres praised the Valencia fans, calling them “one of the best” and noting that their support helped the players through difficult moments.
The Spain International, Torres scored a total of 9 goals in 44 Games for Valencia in the 2019-2020 season before leaving the club to join Manchester City in August 2020.
