In a narrow victory at Camp Nou, Barcelona regained their 11 points lead at the top of the table with a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid thanks to Ferran Torres‘ solitary goal.
Despite Robert Lewandowski’s numerous missed opportunities, Torres broke the deadlock after a cautious first half.
Raphinha’s quick run down the wing and cutback found Torres unmarked, who had ample time to slot the ball into the bottom corner calmly.
Barcelona, however, could have comfortably secured the win with better finishing at the other end. Gavi squandered two opportunities, Lewandowski missed several chances, and Raphinha somehow failed to convert from three yards out.
Nonetheless, Barcelona managed to keep Atleti at bay and secure the points needed to clinch the La Liga title.
