Barcelona were held to a goalless draw against Getafe in La Liga, making it the third consecutive game they failed to score in.
During the first half, both Raphinha and Alejandro Balde hit the post in quick succession, but Barca could not find a way to score.
This result comes after a draw with Girona on Monday and a 4-0 loss to Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey. Despite their struggles to score, Barca still holds an 11-point lead over Madrid with nine league games left to play.
Barca had two close calls in the first half when Raphinha went one-on-one with Getafe’s goalkeeper, but his shot hit the inside of the post.
Balde then attempted to score with the rebound, but his effort hit the same post. Raphinha also had a chance in the second half, but Getafe’s keeper David Soria palmed his shot away.
Additionally, Barca’s manager Xavi saw Sergi Roberto forced off with a hamstring injury in the middle of the first half.
Despite the disappointing result, Barcelona still have an eleven-point lead over second-placed Real Madrid at the top of the table
