According to former Germany player Dietmar Hamann, Jude Bellingham lacks discipline and “nobody dares” to question him at Borussia Dortmund.
Since joining Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020, the 19-year-old has been a key member of the team, and because of his performances, clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid have been linked to him.
Hamann claims that the highly sought-after midfielder has several shortcomings that could hinder him.
“Bellingham lacks discipline though. He might wish to go Real Madrid or return to England, he needs to play differently”.
The former Liverpool and Bayern Munich player told Sky Germany.
“He is free to do anything he wants in Dortmund. Fear of upsetting him prevents anyone from speaking out. You’ll run into trouble if you have him on your team. What does he do next if he doesn’t move forward or backward”?
Hamann is not the only person to criticize Bellingham recently. After a heated argument on the field after Dortmund’s loss to Bayern Munich, teammate Emre Can stated the England international had “to learn a lot.”
Bellingham has appeared in 37 games this season, contributing to six assists and scoring 10 goals in all competitions.
