Liverpool striker, Roberto Firmino has agreed to join Barcelona on a free in the summer.
It will end his illustrious eight-year stint at Anfield, where he has fallen out of Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup on a regular basis.
Since his 2015 £29 million transfer from Hoffenheim, he has won the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, and the Club World Cup.
Firmino, 31, has decided to move on to a new challenge, despite the fact that Klopp has made it clear he would have preferred to keep the Brazilian.
Although he will miss the next three games due to a hamstring injury, Klopp is still optimistic that he will be able to play again before the season is out.
The arrival of Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo has seen the Brazilian slip down the pecking order at Anfield.
Firmino who has 109 goals in 360 games for Liverpool will play his last home game against Aston Villa on May 20.
