According to reports, Liverpool have decided to abandon their pursuit of Jude Bellingham for a potential summer transfer.
Despite being long-time admirers of the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who is considered one of football’s most promising talents, the Reds have chosen not to enter the race for his signature.
The Times has stated that Liverpool are unwilling to spend such a significant portion of their transfer budget on a single player, with Bellingham’s transfer potentially costing over £100 million.
Instead, the club is focusing on identifying alternative midfield targets, which is their primary transfer priority.
Some of the suggested options include Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher, Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo, as well as Wolves’ Matheus Nunes and Leicester’s Youri Tielemens.
